A penalty shoot out holds no worries for Freddie Woodman today Sat 22nd May 2021 11:46
Freddie Woodman has received many plaudits this season, his clean sheet record, ability to pass on the ground to his defence and awareness when he has to come out of his area. These qualities are most certainly the basic requirements in top flight football, but there’s another record not many have commented on.
Freddie Woodman’s display against Barnsley was match winning Tue 18th May 2021 13:13
Freddie Woodman has his critics, and at times if you are a total perfectionist in how you see Swansea City then some of his errors are there to be questioned. However his improvement over the season has been dramatic, no doubt down to Martin Margetson as much as anyone else who work relentlessly at the club, but Freddie is the common denominator, without his effort it means nothing.

It was always going to be a tight game, the newly inspired top six latecomers Barnsley against the methodical percentage tactics of Swansea City. However to win the game it takes more than an off the pitch vision and tonight Coopers surprise selection got it spot on.

Swansea City turn on the second half style and qualify for the play offs again Sun 25th Apr 2021 14:50
From the start it seemed the same old swans, that is bar a few glimpses of hope had turned up at Reading today. The positivity swans fans had before the game almost disappeared when Reading went one up. However, in true swans fashion it was to be a roller coaster from beginning to end. The swans are in the play offs again by damn !

Swans lose at home again : The harsh truth for Steve Cooper Wed 21st Apr 2021 00:33
Frustrated Swansea City fans watched a nonplussed and wretched performance by Steve Cooper’s swans at the Liberty on Tuesday. So much so, even the most ardent of Cooper admirers were beginning to think this was some sort of sick joke as his players started in a defensive formation against a QPR side who had no reason or need to win, lose or draw this game.
The banana skin arrives and the swans slip all over the place. Sun 18th Apr 2021 10:58
If the start of the game was bad, the first twenty five minutes of the second half this afternoon at the Liberty was atrocious. Once again the wandering about with not a lot of interest in winning the game strategy returned. A self imposed exile from the past two games and an inability to hold up, pass or even take control of the ball. Then it’s all change, two quick goals scrape a draw, and the advantage that could have been three points closer to Watford is just one.
Routledge is the difference again - as Swansea City win away again ! Tue 13th Apr 2021 20:55
It was another very decent display by the swans with Wayne Routledge once again starring for the second away game in a row. The swans took all three points at Hillsborough, and will maintain all is not lost in the chase for second place. It wasn’t pretty, in fact again it was quite frustrating, but overall any win away from home at this stage of the season is most welcome. On seventy five points now, the play offs regardless of the maths is almost certainly guaranteed.
